Providing high-quality, meaningful School-to-Work Transition Opportunities for Students and Local Businesses

YouthWorX NT offers a wide range of opportunities for youth between 13 – 19 years of age through Structured Workplacements and other School-to-Work Transition Programmes. The programmes focus on developing and strengthening the knowledge, understanding and skills within Industry areas, awareness of career opportunities and transition pathways, and general employability skills.

The entire team is very focused on delivering a high level of service for students and employers, and advocating our mission statement through quality Workplacement experiences for students within the Darwin, Bathurst Island, Palmerston, East Arm, Litchfield, Finniss, and East Arnhem Regions

School Business Community Partnership Brokers Program

The Local Community Partnerships initiative ceased on 31 December 2009, and has been replaced with the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations – School Business Community Partnership Brokers Program (Partnership Brokers).

Workready Program

The Workready Program is a School-to-Work Transition Program that aims to assist and encourage Year 11 and 12 school students to take part in structured Vocational Education and Training (VET) that leads to a School-based Apprenticeship/Traineeship (SBAT) and hopefully, an ongoing apprenticeship.
